Matra is a brand that is becoming well known in France for the production of electric scooters. Already in 2009 he had released this interesting, and somewhat classical, e-MO and now in April we will see the debut of the new XP version for 2011.

It is a model that has undergone few, but essential, changes. Apparently the design has remained the same, but it is in the engine that the good news begins to arrive, since with its 2,7 HP the new XP version confirms a decisive doubling of power compared to the 2009 model year. Also considering the new super-light frame, this e-MO XP becomes an exceptionally agile, dynamic and pleasant scooter to ride, especially on busy city streets.

The e-MO XP, however, does not give up any comforts either. It is possible to mount two top cases, specially made of aluminium, which together bring the load capacity of the vehicle up to 100 litres.

The good news, however, in a certain way ends here, because despite the increase in power, the performance of this two-wheeler is not exactly exceptional. By maintaining a constant speed of 30 km/h, the autonomy reaches a maximum of around thirty kilometres, which drops to just 20 if increased up to 45 km/h. After all, we are talking about a simple scooter for small errands in the city, so it is really difficult to expect more from an electric scooter.

The launch is scheduled for April with a price of €2.790. The warranty is two years or 12.000 km.
