Malaguti: a series of new features for 2023 that recall tradition and promise innovation [PHOTO]

The brand experience Malaguti is visible in the new proposal of specimens. A series of models designed to attract the attention of a young audience who appreciates moving with agility in different urban contexts and beyond. A tradition projected forward by also observing the interesting XAM electric prototype.

Several new features

Since he has been part of the Austrian group KSR, the return to the tradition of the brand can be found in the innovations imbued with that “Spirit of Bologna” connotative of the Malaguti production.
Among the new specimens is the Dragon 125, a naked characterized by a design composed of sinuous and at the same time decisive features. A new expressive language linked to Malaguti that reinterprets the aforementioned "Spirit of Bologna". It is covered in Neve White and Spirito Gray shades.
The motorcycle is equipped with LED headlights, high resolution TFT display and also features a Bosch electronic injection system and ABS. MAXXIS tires measure 100/80-17 in front and 130/70-17 in back.
Among the features we also highlight a wide handlebar that sits above an upside down fork and a curb weight of 145 kg. An aspect that foreshadows an interesting reactivity, considering the thrust offered by the 125 cc liquid-cooled engine. The power reaches i 13,5 horses (10 kW) at 9.500 rpm with 11,4 Nm of torque at 7.500 rpm.

Equally interesting is the XAM prototype, a bridge idea between a bicycle and a motorbike. This is an interesting project without displacement, given that it is an electric off-road model, the first of this type for Malaguti.
During the presentation there was no mention of the approval times for road use and the availability of the vehicle, but the intention seems to be to respond to the requests of a young audience, in order to propose a vehicle which, together with its performance, offers also good value for money. The XAM prototype also seems to anticipate a prospective interpretation of the profound tradition of the San Lazzaro di Savena brand. Another interesting factor is the weight, given that the brand has decided not to exceed 70 kg for the standard model, according to the indications.

For 2023, the update of the models is also highlighted Madison 125 need XSM 125 e XTM 125. The aesthetic features of the Madison 125, the first model developed in collaboration with GPX in Thailand, have been redefined. For 2023 it is available in the Albero Green, Neve White and Toro Black color variants.

As well as mentioning the updates for the XSM 125 and XTM 125, enhanced with an update for the start of the 2023 season.

Both the lightweight Supermoto XSM 125 and the more off-road model XTM 125 recall the style of the Drakon. The models feature LED headlights, including daytime running lights, as well as a new seat, a new ABS solution and a new exhaust system.
