The only ecological (and electric) SUV on two wheels is renewed!

SUV is the electric bike presented by Wayel innovative in 2010 with the aim of allowing you to carry large loads in a simple and safe way. The cute name stands for Shopping Utility Vehicle in deliberate contrast with the more well-known Sport Utility Vehicles. The main feature of the Wayel's SUV is to have created a city e-bike to be used every day capable of carrying considerable loads thanks to the positioning of a basket inside the handlebars. In this way it is possible to maintain a particularly balanced setup and avoid skidding when cornering even in the presence of a significant weight. The basket is in fact approved to hold up to 37 litres, which can be quantified as a 6-bottle case of water and a shopping bag.
At Expobici2013 Wayel's SUV presents itself with a renewed look and equipment. The restyling focused on 2 main aspects: electronics and comfort. With the new electronics, the multifunction control unit becomes standard through which it is possible to select up to 3 speed levels, the soft start device which allows you to start from a standstill without pedaling up to 6 km/h (useful for traffic light stops or for restarts slightly uphill), the front recessed basket and the rear roof rack.
The cardan transmission has been confirmed, which represents the distinctive element of Wayel electric bikes. Technical or stylistic choice? Probably both, in fact the cardan by replacing the chain eliminates all the problems connected to it, such as the risk of falling and the necessary maintenance and the design of the electric bike benefits from this.
There is always only one color (satin black) and only one type of frame with low entry, capable of adapting to the needs of a large audience of people.
The batteries are chosen from four different sizes which determine the final price of the bike, all long lasting thanks to lithium polymer technology.
A further innovation of this 2013 SUV compared to the previous version is represented by the implementation of ESEB software (Energy Saving Electric Bike) developed by Wayel which allows an improvement in autonomous performance.
