LS2 VECTOR C FF397, the carbon fiber Road Touring helmet arrives

LS2 VECTOR C FF397 – VECTOR C FF397 is a full-face helmet made of carbon fibre, it belongs to the Road Touring segment, and is suitable for those who use sports motorbikes and also perfect for those who practice medium and long-range touring. This new carbon fiber used to make VECTOR C FF397, even lighter and more resistant, is the result of constant research carried out by the LS2 Helmets R&D Center. The carbon outer shell, molded in three sizes, has an aerodynamic and compact shape. The internal shell in differentiated density EPS, also printed in three sizes, guarantees maximum absorption of the energy generated in the event of an impact and is made with 3D Laser Cut Foam technology, synonymous with excellent comfort for every type of fit .

The visor movement mechanism, LS2 patent, is integrated into the line of the shell and has three springs positioned on the carbon look side plates which allow for quick release. The visor of the VECTOR C FF397 is anti-scratch and anti-UV treated, and is printed with special polymers that make it particularly resistant to impacts. The 3D Optically Correct technology frees it from any type of optical distortion and allows optimal visibility in all driving conditions. VECTOR C FF397 is equipped with Pinlock 70 Max Vision and is equipped with the exclusive TSS (Twin Shield System) system which, thanks to an internal Iridium Blue sun visor that can be operated via the lever positioned in the lower left part of the helmet, allows for riding in total comfort and maximum safety.

The ventilation system is composed of an adjustable air intake fixed on the top of the helmet, an air intake on the chin guard and a rear extractor which also acts as a stabilizing spoiler. This system and the ducts on the internal shell allow fresh air to circulate inside the helmet. The air intake located near the chin guard features a two-level front ventilation system, which serves to avoid fogging.

Particular attention was also paid by LS2 in the study of the padding of VECTOR C FF397. The interiors are all removable and washable, and feature Breath, breathable and hypoallergenic fabrics. To join the fabrics with the sponges (cut with laser), no type of glue is used, so that the air can circulate better and they absorb moisture to keep you cool while driving. The upper cuff is heat-sealed, while the side paddings are fixed to the shell via three magnets on each side. A system never previously used on protective helmets and which makes it extremely easy to remove and attach the side padding of the VECTOR C FF397. To further improve the passive safety of this exceptional helmet, LS2 has worked on the system for removing the padding, integrated in a single piece. Safety and comfort are also present in the comfortable strap with quick release closure and micrometric adjustment and in the neck protector, equipped with a reflective plate which increases the user's safety at night or in case of poor visibility.
