LS2 Helmets presents the new Vortex FF313 carbon modular

LS2 Helmets – Elegance and comfort come together in the new designer modular LS2: Vortex FF313. An incredibly beautiful and bold helmet, with a modern design and a swagger capable of conquering the most disparate audiences. Vortex FF313 is ideal for both lovers of maxi-scooters and latest generation motorbikes and pairs naturally with both an elegant suit and a leather jacket and trendy jeans.

The outer shell is made in two sizes, has a rounded but extremely aerodynamic and compact shape and is molded in very light Carbon, which is very resistant and perfectly capable of absorbing the energy generated by a possible impact. The small shell is available in sizes XS to M, while the large shell is made in sizes L to XXL. The internal shell, in two sizes, is made of differentiated density EPS.

Vortex FF313 is equipped with an excellent opening mechanism, among the most stable in the world. The chin guard can be lifted very easily, even with just one hand, thanks to a single button in the center of the lower internal part, which aims to avoid any type of accidental opening. Once raised, the chin guard continues its 90° travel, where it locks. With just one touch, you can also adjust the airflow from the chin guard which can be directed to the visor or towards the mouth. Once closed, the chin guard becomes integral with the #helmet, guaranteeing the same safety as a full-face helmet. Vortex FF313 is, in fact, approved both as an open helmet and as a full-face helmet (as per the PJ acronym shown on the rear label).

The visor movement mechanism is automatic: when the chin guard is opened or closed, the visor raises or lowers following its movement. The visor is equipped with a Quick Release System and offers a level of visibility of absolute excellence, with anti-scratch and anti-UV treatment, as well as being printed with special polymers which make it particularly resistant to impacts.

The 3D Optically Correct technology frees it from any type of optical distortion, to allow driving in total comfort and safety. Vortex FF313 is equipped with Pinlock 70 Max Vision, the best anti-fog system available in the world, and is equipped with the exclusive TSS (Twin Shield System), the internal sun visor that guarantees the right visibility in all light conditions and environment. The Dynamic Flow ventilation system is made up of five channels: an adjustable intake on the chin guard, two adjustable upper intakes and two rear extractors that act as a stabilizing spoiler. This system and the channels present in the shell allow fresh air to circulate perfectly inside the helmet, guaranteeing freshness and comfort in any climate.

The internal padding is removable and washable and is made with 3 hypoallergenic breathable microfibre fabrics.. Fabrics and sponges, cut with the laser, are coupled without glue to allow air to circulate better and absorb humidity, keeping the interior always ventilated. The upper cap is heat-sealed, while the side pads are attached to the shell via three magnets, for quick and easy removal.

Vortex FF313 arrives on the market at a retail price of €399. LS2 Helmets has also included a version with Linking Ride Pal III included in the price list, with a retail price of €499.
