LS2 Helmets: the new collections of helmets, clothing, gloves and footwear at EICMA 2021

The news signed LS2 Helmets presented on the occasion of EICMA 2021 they are different, ranging from helmets to footwear.

Helmets

The first novelty for head protection is the exemplary MX703 X-FORCE, a model for Extreme Motocross enthusiasts linked to the MX line. A robust helmet, distinguishable by its sporty aesthetic and evolved in terms of safety and comfort, with an adaptation of the new LS2 Helmets models to the European 22.06 approval. DOT approval for the American market is also indicated.

The variety of colors and graphics is wide and in solid colors it is available in carbon fiber and, regarding the LS2 graphics, the complete range is divided into Barrier, Victory and Fireskull finishes. The retail price amounts to 399 euros for a solid-colored example and 449 euros if you opt for a graphic.
The shell is developed in carbon fiber with an oval format. The carbon fiber allows this specimen to be light, given an indicated weight of only 1.300 grams. It features a removable, three-position adjustable visor and features a hydration tube built into the helmet.
The ventilation system consists of multiple top vents and air outlets that allow constant regulation of the air flow.
Inside it provides a symbiosis of fabrics and foams of different densities and the padded interior and the development of multiple sizes of EPS allow this case to be adaptable. It also has four external shells for tighter sizes and the interior is removable and washable, hypoallergenic and breathable. The emergency extraction system and the metal safety plate are also interesting and functional. The closure takes place via double rings and a reinforced chin strap in the chin guard.

The other new feature is the helmet FF811 VECTOR II, an evolution compared to the FF397VECTOR EVO helmet, making it technically more advanced in terms of resistance and safety. It features a certificate of the new European ECE 22.06 approval with an optimization to withstand impacts. Also noteworthy is the DOT approval intended for the American market.
Offered in multiple color and graphic variations, the solid colors are: glossy white, matt titanium, matt black and Nardo Grey. The graphics are divided into finishes: Splitter, Tropical, Techbot, Metric, Asbolute and Stylus, with different colours. The price indicated to the public is 239 euros in the case of a solid color model and 259 euros when choosing a graphic.
It is a touring helmet characterized by aerodynamic features and an ovoid development, functional in everyday use and for those who love traveling on two wheels. The shell is developed in HPFC, a high-performance fiber composite, making it rather light and robust. A weight of 1.350 grams is indicated and considering the ECE 22.06 approval, the modification of the sun visor mechanism is underlined with the possibility of driving without sunglasses, helping to recognize the color of traffic lights. The visors are composed of Class A polycarbonate lenses optically corrected for 3D vision and have high impact resistance. We also highlight an integrated double visor system that is scratch-resistant, anti-UVA, anti-fog, ready for Pinlock Max Vision and a quick disassembly system.
The model features multiple ducted vents with ventilation at the top and chin guard, two-stage front ventilation and a respirator, plus the chin guard features an anti-wind system. Together with the internal shell, the helmet has six external shells in order to obtain tighter sizes. The interior features removable and washable fabrics, as well as breathable and hypoallergenic.
Depending on the protection, the closure is micrometric in steel and has an emergency extraction system, with a metal safety plate and reflective stickers.

Apparel

The new garments for men and women are four jackets and two types of trousers, ranging from the Urban panorama with METROPOLIS EVO, AIRY and SCOUT to the Touring one with the new NORWAY jacket with the union of style, comfort and design for the most demanding motorcyclists , which can also be combined with the new NORWAY technical trousers.
AIRY is a light and breathable garment for the summer with a casual style, therefore SCOUT is a waterproof, functional, versatile and fashionable three-layer jacket.

METROPOLIS EVO it is a long two-layer jacket developed in polyester. A waterproof and breathable item of clothing that can resist up to 5.000 mm of water column. The interior is made up of a removable technical membrane, furthermore, keeping in mind the comfort for the neck, the hood is removable if necessary and the collar is in neoprene. It has two front pockets with a drawstring to cinch the jacket at the waist. All zippers are YKK and has EN 17092-3:2019 Class AA approval. Furthermore, there are removable CE protectors on the shoulders and elbows certified EN1621-1: 2012 Level 1.
Proposed in the version for men and women in different sizes and in the colors black, khaki and titanium for men or titanium and black for women, the reported retail price is 179 euros.

AIRY it is a casual summer jacket, made with a symbiosis between mesh and polyester with reflective details on the back and arms. There are adjustment points on the waist and neck, a zip closure, two pockets and a zip for the adoption of a back protector. The jacket for men and women in different sizes has removable CE protectors on the shoulders, elbows and also on the chest, all removable and EN1621-1: 2012 Level 1 approved. The jackets designed for men are in solid black, black and gray and light grey, while those for women are in black and light grey. The reported retail price is 109 euros.

SCOUT It is another waterproof and versatile three-layer jacket thanks to the external mesh layer, the water-resistant membrane and the thermal jacket which are removable, making the garment perforated and ventilated. A garment proposed only for men and available in sizes from S to 5XL in white and gray with fluorescent orange and gray and black inserts. The retail price indicated is 199 euros.
We also highlight the fit with adjustments on the wrist, arms, waist, hips and neck, the YKK zips and the presence of reflective inserts. A garment designed for the use of a back protector as well as equipped with removable protectors on the shoulders and elbows approved to EN 1621-1:2012 Lev.1 and approved to EN 17092-3:2019 Class AA.

For the Touring panorama there is then the jacket NORWAY, combining comfort and style. A jacket available for men in sizes S-5XL and in the colors black and white and black white and blue with red inserts. The reported amount is 329 euros.
The jacket features ventilation panels on the front, sleeves and back equipped with YKK zippers that allow air to channel. The interior consists of a thermal down jacket that can be removed and a waterproof and breathable membrane and a jacket collar developed in neoprene are also highlighted.
There are five pockets with a zip closure, three of which are waterproof. Norway is made of polyester and is equipped with removable CE protectors on the shoulders and elbows, EN1621-1: 2012 Level 1 approved and EN 17092-3: 2019 Class AA approved. also a rear pocket for inserting the back protector and a zip for attaching trousers.

In fact, in combination, we highlight the three-layer NORWAY trousers made of polyester and characterized by inserts that allow ventilation when the thermal lining is removed. There are also special reflectors on the knees, Velcro closures on the waist and elastic inserts on the inner thigh and functional knees to facilitate movement. These trousers for men are offered in sizes from S to 5XL and in dark gray color and the reported price is 199 euros. We also highlight protectors on the knees that are adjustable in three different positions.

The other pant is the Dakota a jean developed in cotton, polyester and aramid fibres. The fit is regular and the fabric is elastic to improve the fitting, considering the sizes from XS to 5XL for women and from S to 5XL for men in colors such as black and dark blue for men and black or denim blue for women . The amount indicated to the public is 159 euros.
The trousers have three rear pockets and two front pockets, furthermore the EN 17092-3:2019 Class AA approval and removable knee protectors EN 1621-1:2012 Lev.1 approved are highlighted, as well as adjustable knee protectors.

Gloves

There are four new models designed for different motorcyclists and usable in the warmer or milder seasons. There are three new sports models: Spark II Air, Spark II Leather and Feng. In addition to these, there is also a new vintage model: the Duster. All LS2 gloves are approved according to EN certification: 13594:2015 (level 1).

The glove SPARK II AIR it is developed with different types of fabric, namely cowhide and sheepskin, Spandex, Neoprene and Mesh and includes rigid carbon protectors on the knuckles and fingers, along with reinforcements on the thumb and palm of the hand. Ventilation is aided by perforated fabric on the fingers and wrist and the finger and wrist area is defined with elastic material. Silicone elements and smart touch technology also appear. Offered for men from size S to size 3XL, there are three color combinations: black and yellow, black and red, black and white. The reported retail price is 69,99 euros.

Moving on to the glove SPARK II LEATHER, this is developed with the conjunction of cowhide and sheepskin, together with Spandex and Neoprene. The perforated fabric on the fingers and wrist facilitates ventilation, and the finger and wrist area in elastic material improves the fit. A functional glove during the warmer and milder seasons. The smart touch technology allows the use of mobile devices without having to remove the glove and there are also protections on the carbon fingers and carbon on the knuckles with reinforcement on the palm and thumb. Always offered to a male audience in sizes ranging from S to 3XL, the color combinations are: white, black and red, grey, black and red, black, yellow and white. The indicated amount is 69,99 euros.

The other glove FENG it is connected to the sporting landscape. It is developed with real leather, Superfabic and Hypalon and features an external seam on the fingers with a Velcro adjustment on the wrist, as well as featuring soft touch technology on the index finger. There are rigid protections on the knuckles, palm, fingers and metacarpals.
The sizes for men range from S to 2XL and four combinations of shades are listed: black and red, black and fluorescent yellow, black, blue and fluorescent yellow, black, red and fluorescent yellow. A retail price of 119,99 euros has been reported.

Finally the DUSTER, a vintage style glove developed entirely in cowhide and with perforated fabric on the back. It features sponge protectors for the fingers and palm, then other thermoplastic ones on the knuckles and a reinforcement on the palm, thumb and little finger. A short and soft to the touch model with a Velcro adjustment on the wrist and the use of elastic material on the fingers and wrist for easy wearing. Also in this case, touchscreen technology is used on the index finger.
The sizes aimed at a male audience vary from S to 2XL and there are still four colours: black, brown, tobacco brown, ocher yellow. The indicated retail price is 69,99 euros.

Footwear

A new line of technical shoes and boots has also been introduced, a total of seven models designed for various two-wheel enthusiasts. Examples to be used in an urban context or aimed at a more sporty audience, which offer safety with a refined style. They range from the more urban California, Zoe and Downtown, to the more aggressive Goby, Urano, Garra and Dardo. The new examples will be available at LS2 dealers from summer 2022, as indicated.

CALIFORNIA it is a dark brown boot that covers the ankle, with reinforced areas on the heel and toe, as well as elastic inserts. This urban shoe with a vintage style and a soft leather texture is available for men in dark brown color with sizes ranging from 39 to 46.

ZOE, on the other hand, is an example proposed for the male and female audience characterized by a sporty style and developed for everyday use. The men's one is offered in two guises, opting between black and red/black and yellow with sizes ranging from 39 to 46. The women's one in the black and purple/black and yellow combinations is available in sizes ranging from 36 to 41.
This shoe covers the ankle and features a rubber sole and is developed with flexible materials and elastic inserts, as well as having reinforcements on the toe and heel.

DOWNTOWN is a waterproof shoe with a casual design, characterized by the use of a fabric with soft leather trim and a rubber sole. It features reinforcements on the heel and toe, with total coverage of the foot up to the ankle. A model for men in two colours, choosing between light gray and dark gray and in sizes ranging from 39 to 46.

GOBY is a mid-calf waterproof fabric motorcycle sport boot, designed for a female and male audience. This model is characterized by more reinforced protections at the ankle and toe. There are also elastic inserts for the ankle and calf. It is proposed in black with yellow details and in sizes ranging from 39 to 48 for men and from 36 to 41 for women.

URANUS it is another boot with a sporty style and in waterproof fabric. A mid-calf high model with elastic inserts and reinforced protections in key areas. Designed for a male audience, this model is suitable for use in hot or mild seasons and also during rainy days. In the total black color with a red detail, the sizes vary from 39 to 47.

CLAW it is always a sporty and waterproof boot that covers the ankle and is more versatile, useful on urban stretches and even outside the city. It features drawstrings and Velcro closure, reinforced protections on the toe and ankle and is designed to be used even in hot seasons.

Finally DADO, another model with a sporty look and versatile use. It is a men's ankle-high boot with reinforced protection. Available in sizes ranging from 39 to 46, the model is covered in a black color and is characterized by a lace closure reinforced by a Velcro buckle.
