LS2 Helmets: the new helmets presented at EICMA 2019

LS2 Helmets did not just present at EICMA 2019 lots of news from a clothing point of view. The Spanish company, in fact, presented itself with 6 helmets ranging from super sporty to modular for use in the city.

LS2 Helmets presented several new helmets: OF601 BOB, FF900 VALIANT II, ​​FF902 SCOPE and FF800 STORM.

OF601 BOB it is the most eccentric model, it is available in two versions. The first is produced in HPFC (High Performance Fiber Composite), a composite of glass fiber fabric arranged in various layers and weighs 1000 g, with a padded interior made up of various breathable and hypoallergenic fabrics. The second version is made of carbon fiber, and is the lightest helmet in the world available on the market, thanks to its weight of only 850 g. The interior is made of perforated leather with other breathable and hypoallergenic fabrics. Both are made with three external and five internal shells (EPS) and have an internal sun visor with anti-scratch treatment and UV protection. The new BOB features a wide range of graphics and colors to satisfy tastes
and the needs of the most demanding motorcyclists. The fiber model (HPFC) is available in SOLID versions
matt and glossy black and Nardo Grey, trendy colour. While the LINES graphics are characterized in black
shiny and chromed, a color very suited to the character of this helmet. Price: BOB HPFC €159,00
for the SOLID version, €179,00 for the LINES. BOB C is available in the only matt carbon color at the price of €279,00.

FF900 VALIANTII it is a modular helmet with an improved chin guard opening mechanism. The ventilation system has changed radically, the EPS (internal shell) has been channeled to obtain better air flow. The padded fabrics for the interior are new and are breathable. The new helmet complies with European ECE 22.05 approval standards and is equipped with DOT marking for the American market. It has double P/J approval, therefore it can be used as a full-face helmet and as a jet helmet. The price is €319 for the monochromatic version, €349 for the decorated one. The NOIR or Full Black model deserves a special mention, with a price of €339.

FF902 SCOPE it is a modular helmet perfect for maxi-scooters and motorbikes in the city. The outer shell incorporates the upper and rear air intakes, as well as the chin guard movement system. The shell is molded in three sizes in KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy), a mix of thermoplastic polymers and fiber. The internal shell in differentiated density EPS is made in five different sizes depending on the size, with the aim of improving the fit of the helmet. The ventilation system is composed of an adjustable air intake fixed on the upper part of the helmet, an air intake on the chin guard and two rear extractors which also act as stabilizing spoilers. The helmet is available in sizes from The retail price is €149,00 in the single-color SOLID version and €169,00 in the graphic versions.

FF800 STORM it is a sporty helmet with an aggressive touch. Manufactured in KPA: LS2 polymer which offers excellent results in all types of tests and under stress. The main feature of KPA is the combination of resistance and flexibility. A material that allows you to create very light plastic-based products, more stable in the face of possible impacts and flexible for better dissipation of kinetic energy. The weight is 1350g while the new ventilation system translates into great comfort. Front ventilation allows air to enter the rider's mouth and face. Two vents at the top of the helmet, combined with the three on the back and side, allow for a constant flow that always keeps your head cool. The padded interior of the helmet is made of a combination of fabrics and foams of different densities. The fabrics are breathable and hypoallergenic, which guarantee comfort and hygiene. The padded interior is removable and washable. The reflective fabric insert located in the lower part is very important. The product is launched in multiple colors and graphics. The single color versions are glossy white, matt titanium, high gloss black and matt black. There are two particular nuances that are a distinctive sign of the brand: the brilliant Nardo Gray and the Jeans finish, a chrome gradation brushed by hand to create a very attractive "worn" effect. As for the graphics, LS2 has created a complete range for a total of twelve colours. FF800 STORM It has the European ECE 22.05 approval and the DOT marking for the American market. It is prepared for the use of communication systems, with enough space to insert earphones.
