LS2 Helmets official supplier of the 73rd edition of La Vuelta

LS2 Helmets confirms itself as a company closely linked to the world of two wheels: motorbikes, certainly, but also cycling, and for this reason it is not surprising that it has become the official supplier of the 73rd edition of La Vuelta, the historic event that together with Tour of Italy and Tour de France completes the triptych of cycling competitions in the most important stages in the world.

LS2 Helmets will supply the official helmets for the race direction, the jury and the course marshals, with the aim of guaranteeing maximum safety and absolute comfort to the motorcyclists who will accompany the best professional cyclists in the world during the 21 stages that will take the caravan from Málaga to Alcorcón (Madrid). The helmets chosen are the Strobe FF325, the modular helmet from the Urban Commuter collection and the VERSO OF570, the jet helmet from the Urban Downtown collection, made in four colours: Matt Black, Light Blue, Red and White.
The Strobe FF325 is characterized by an innovative design, expressing the best protective characteristics of a full-face helmet integrated with the comfort of a jet model. It is a versatile helmet, suitable for use on a motorbike, perfect for city travel but an exceptional travel companion on medium-long distance stretches and on the motorway, in short, perfect for those who have to follow the long stages of the Spanish cycling race. Its shell, in two sizes, is molded in HPTT (High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology), an exceptionally flexible thermoplastic material that makes the helmet light and very resistant. Its particularly aerodynamic shape is designed to incorporate the upper and rear air intakes as well as the innovative movement system of the chin guard which, once raised, continues its 90° travel. Verso OF570 is the jet helmet that completes the Urban Downtown segment, designed by LS2 to experience two wheels with a touch of style and excellent comfort. Lightweight and modern, it represents the ideal option for those who do not want to give up safety, but also pay attention to design. The shell has a particularly aerodynamic shape and is molded in two sizes in KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy), exclusive to LS2, a mix of thermoplastic resins and fibre, an exceptionally light and flexible material.

Both helmets are equipped with a visor characterized by a quick release mechanism (Quick Release System), which is treated anti-scratch, anti-UV and is printed with special polymers which make it particularly resistant to impacts, as well as avoiding image distortion, thanks to the 3D Optically Correct technology. Strobe is also equipped with Pinlock 70 Max Vision, the most innovative anti-fog system. Both models are equipped with the exclusive TSS (Twin Shield System), the internal sun visor that guarantees constant visibility and optimal driving comfort in all visibility conditions. The interiors in breathable and hypoallergenic Breath fabric are removable and washable. Safety and comfort are also guaranteed by the reinforced steel strap, with quick release closure and micrometric adjustment.
