Louis Moto: the SIX PACK transformation of a Honda Gold Wing [PHOTO]

A custom motorbike characterized by clear and metallic features linked to a voluminous heart, that of a Honda GL1800 Gold Wing. It is the creation reported by Louis Moto, a transformation SIX PACKS.

Distinctive aesthetics

An impactful vision. From the Honda Gold Wing they remained, in addition to the thruster, Only electronic circuit, cardan swingarm e broadcast. Paint specialist Danny Schramm from the company Schrammwerk worked on the color of this example. An interesting aesthetic choice obtained by applying a coat of aluminum-colored paint and a scratched effect obtained with a grinder. The red hints of some components also contribute to the overall vision.

Technology

As already mentioned, the engine, transmission, cardan swingarm and electronic circuit were preserved by the mechanical team to give shape to this new creation. The team of Martin Struckmann and Detlev Stüdemann took care of the electronics, while Sam Wassermann from the company UNO worked on the new frame made of steel tubes rough, according to the information. Given the size of the engine, much more robust tubes were used. One is also highlighted fork and an USD amount from premium frame specialist Wilbers and a set of wheels made by Italian specialist Kineo. Michael Naumann created a new aluminum tank, placed directly in the frame, behind the engine. The space created under the fake aluminum tank preserves the cables, always considering the indications.

Another interesting aspect is the intake part of the engine with a round K&N filter at the central throttle valve. The engine was entrusted to Ulf Penner, a well-known tuning specialist. There is talk of a full-bodied sound also linked to the adoption of a specific system 6 into 6 exhaust developed by the Italian company Shark, taking into account the indications of design manager Kay Blanke.

Motor

The heart of this bike is a boxer a six cylinders. The engine is supported by a dual clutch gearbox DCT.
These thruster from 1.833 cc appears to have evolved together with the Gold Wing itself. The power is equal to 130 horses at 5.500 rpm and are obtained 170 Nm of torque at just 4.500 rpm.
