LML Star 151cc, when vintage blends with modern…

...it turns out that the variator can still be an innovation

Do you love the charm and the vintage line but does the handlebar shift represent an inconvenience for you? Well, the solution is the classic variator gearbox and at home LML they had already thought about pairing it with the 125 cc engine, thus answering the initial question. But now, with a little more panache, it is possible to have it with the new one Star Automatic 4T 151cc, which also allows access to the motorway thanks to a greater cruising speed.

Compared to the 125cc model, the 151cc version has a new nose pad and fender ridge. The control panel, like the 125cc, stands out for the presence of an off button - which allows the scooter to be deactivated with the ignition on - and the implementation of the instrumentation with two warning lights. One for the ECS diagnostics (Electronic Carburator System) and another for stopping the brakes when they are activated. Also for the 151cc the practical rear brake lever located on the left side of the handlebar, characteristic of the Automatic range, replaces the one operated via the pedal on the platform, typical of the LML Star scooters.

The frame is the strong point of the LML Star: it is characterized by a steel tube structure to reinforce the pre-existing monocoque configuration ensuring excellent torsional rigidity. Even the engine, placed in a manner vertical and central, helps to distribute the load on the front axle for balance and better handling.

The automatic range is equipped with a particular ventilation system, the LIAS (LML Inlet Air System), which allows the engine cooling and the transmission system, as well as the supply of air to the filter box. The capacity of the tank has been increased to 7 litres, and it is now positioned on the right side of the vehicle under the rear bodywork; thanks to the 4-stroke single-cylinder fleet, you can travel up to 40 km on 1 litre. The 151cc engine of the Star Automatica is entirely designed and built by LML: two valves, with forced air cooling, electric and kick start, thanks to an electrolytic capacitor, which allows it to be switched on even with a flat battery.

The new Star 4T Automatic 151cc starts from 2.499 € VAT included and will be sold in the color variants Black - White - Electric Blue - English Green - Metallic Red - Graphite - Ivory - St. Tropez - Two-tone ivory/avocado - Two-tone ivory/orange. You can also take advantage of the “SWITCH TO LML” campaign, an incentive for the purchase of a model from the Automatic 125cc and 151cc range. By replacing or scrapping an old scooter with a new Star Automatica 4-stroke you can take advantage of a incentive equal to €300 to switch to LML.
