Indian Motorcycles will revive the Chief Dark Horse
It will be launched during a special competition that will take place in Chicago
Chief Dark Horse – Indian Motorcycles has confirmed that a Chief Dark Horse model is returning to its lineup.
As confirmed by the parent company Polaris the new model will be presented during a launch event which will be the setting for a race renamed the Dark Horse Challenge. Not much is known about the new Chief Dark Horse yet, but a photo released by the brand already gives us a glimpse of a small part of its front fender.
More than a surprise, we are talking about a confirmation given that some documents had already anticipated that a new model of this kind would arrive on the market in 2016. Indian Motocycles is, in particular, working on a two-wheeler with an engine 1811cc V-twin, most likely the same one mounted on the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain and Roadmaster. The original Dark Horse was made between 2010 and 2013.
The brand's invitation to Dark Horse Challenge it reads like this: “Are you tough enough? Register for the Dark Horse Challenge in Chicago on February 13th at 16pm. Riders of all makes and models are invited to join us as we head out on a route from Michigan Avenue to Kaiser Tiger where you will receive exclusive access to attend our new Indian model launch event Motorcycles”.
