Lambretta at EICMA 2022: the preview of the X125 model in the range, remembering the 75th anniversary

Lambretta underlines his 75 anniversary a EICMA and shows on the occasion of the International Two Wheel Exhibition a varied range of models, refined from an aesthetic point of view and in different engine sizes. The new one has also been launched X125, which strengthens the proposal together with the recent one X300 and the series G-Special e V-Special.

The new Lambretta X125 model

Reported as “ideal vehicle” for the new generation of fans of the Lambretta brand, the exemplary X125 Like the X series, it is characterized by streamlined features that convey a certain sportiness and recall the historical models of the brand.
The X series is a new product line and this is the second model in the series after X300, introduced at the last Fuorisalone 2022.
Features include LED headlights, a keyless system and dual-channel ABS. The fixed mudguard and the setting of the steel sides are connotative, characterized by "diamond" features that recall the Lambretta tradition in a contemporary form.
Moving on to the technical part, the frame of the new X125 is of the tubular semi-monocoque type with footboard, shield and sides united and made of steel. The front suspension features a double arm with pulled wheel and double shock absorber, furthermore there is a disc braking system in the front and rear area.
The 124 cc engine is a single-cylinder 4-stroke, with 4 valves and liquid cooling, Bosch is the technical partner for electronic injection. The power reaches i 14,3 horses at 9.500 rpm. Series production is scheduled for later this year, as indicated.

Other Lambretta examples

A EICMA the series is also exhibited G-Special and the top model is G350, admired for the first time again on the occasion of the Fuorisalone 2022. It represents a high-end projection of the range V-Special, introduced on the market during 2017 and which includes the three displacements 50, 125 e 200 cc.
Leading to the G350, the concept and style curated by Walter Scheffrahn and Peter Beselin bring to mind the classic stylistic features of the historic Lambrettas. The G-Special series is characterized by a classic monocoque steel frame and has interchangeable side panels as per tradition. The front suspension is with a pull-wheel swinging arm and double shock absorber. The features also include full LED headlights, TFT display and dual-channel ABS.
The general dimensions are also highlighted and it is the series with the model with the highest displacement in the category of high-end classic scooters. It represents the brand's flagship model and is proposed on the market as a new benchmark in the segment. Series production is already underway.
