New Royal Enfield Himalayan – Following the first official photos and promotional video seen online in recent weeks, Royal Enfield presented its new Himalayan during the Auto Expo in Delhi, India. The presentation, which can be seen in the video, was officiated by Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a 411cc air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. The engine thus claims 25 HP at 6,500 rpm and 31 Nm of torque at 4.000 – 4,500 rpm. Furthermore, it has a curb weight of 182 kg, although Royal Enfield is yet to specify how it classifies the curb weight. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan features standard 41mm x 220mm forks at the front and a 180mm monoshock at the other end. The brakes at the front are handled by a two-piston floating caliper with a 300-millimeter disc, while the rear has a 240-millimeter disc and single-piston caliper.

The ground clearance of the new one Royal Enfield Himalayan is 220 mm, while the seat height is 800 mm. It is available in two colours, Snow and Granite.
