Kymco People S: a new 200i ABS in the renewed family [PHOTO]

An evolution of performance and style for the overview Kymco People S which includes approved models Euro 5. Together with the specimens 50 4T e 125i ABS even a new one 200i ABS instead of the 150i ABS example.

Design

The aesthetics of the renewed family Kymco People S includes a front light unit full-LED redefined to increase brightness. The small shaped vents are no longer included to make room for a new design with improved brightness. Some details change, such as the full black leather saddle and sticker model name, now in guise dark eighth notes.
In the area of ​​the rear shield there is an additional glove compartment equipped with a lid and a convenient fastening hook, therefore there is a functional flat platform and so is the load space on all the examples mentioned.
The instrumentation is digital and allows you to view: total and partial odometer, rev counter, fuel level indicator, USB socket warning light, speedometer, battery voltage.
Returning to the saddle, this is developed on two levels and is placed at a height of 78 cm supporting the driver and passenger. Then listed: windshield, hand guards, double USB socket visible in the neck of the handlebar cover and in the compartment under the saddle which can be opened from the multifunction block and accommodate a full-face helmet and any other objects such as gloves, therefore there is also a 33 liter top box in body color.

Technology and engines

The braking system changes depending on the displacement: the People S 50 4T has front disc brake and rear drum brake of 260 mm and 130 mm respectively; While People S 125i e 200 they are equipped with a dual-channel ABS system with two-piston calipers at the front and rear and 260 mm and 240 mm discs respectively. The models are also equipped with split-spoke light alloy wheels, 16 inches at the front and 14 inches at the rear. They fit 100/80-16 and 120/80-14 tyres.
The engine is a single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled throughout the overview with compliance Euro 5. On the new 200i ABS model the maximum power and torque values ​​are 14,7 horses (10,8 kW) at 8.500 rpm e 13,5 Nm at 6.500 rpm, higher than the data of the previous 150 by 14 horsepower (10,3 kW) and 12,0 Nm at 7.000 rpm, considering a new 163 cc displacement. A speed of 105 km/h can be reached.
