Kymco K50 – The Sport Tourer with which the Kaohsiung factory enters the high-performance maxi scooter segment is a concentration of solutions created in our country, under the supervision of PADANA RICAMBI SPA, the Italian branch of Kymco.

An important project that revolves around the new twin-cylinder developed by the parent company. We start from the lines, which give it a strong personality, and we arrive at its engineering development, to understand how the K50 is the result of an Italy/Taiwan synergy in which the greatest weight is however represented by the know-how put in place by the technicians of the Old Continent. The chassis benefits from the greater contribution: characterized by the engine housed in a central position in the frame with aluminum swingarm, released to optimize the distribution of the masses, it uses a mono shock absorber fixed laterally and an upside down fork. The most emblematic image of this collaboration is certainly represented by the Brembo braking system, with radial-mount calipers and petal discs, the best technology that can be found on any scooter on the market.

"Padana Ricambi has strongly influenced the development direction of many KYMCO products in recent years, starting from the definition of style and moving on to providing engineering supports to improve all aspects of the vehicle.” said Stefano Gianotti, Sole Director. “For K50, which celebrates KYMCO's entry into such an important segment, we could only commit ourselves even more to these contributions."
