Kymco DTX360: a maxi scooter with an exploratory nature [PHOTO]

The new Kymco DTX360 It presents the typical characteristics of a maxi scooter merged with aspects that can be linked to an "Adventure Crossover".

The specialised farming model

Hints of sportiness and a functional approach. Among the connotative characteristics of the new Kymco DTX360 the high front mudguard, wider handlebars to facilitate control even on uneven surfaces and a more raised position which favors visibility stand out.
The appearance is enlivened by graphics positioned on the matt anthracite colored rear fenders, in symbiosis with the body colours: matt black/anthracite e matt black/orange.
The design of the front light clusters with lights is also distinctive LED tubes, the chrome/gloss black details, the glossy black muffler protection inserts and the non-pigmented transparent rear light lenses.
The instrumentation is digital on a panel LCD. The driving position includes handlebar controls, full black grip design knobs with hand guards and there is also a keyless starting system with multifunction ignition lock, equipped with a smart-lock solution connected to the steering lock, starting and saddle opening functions full black two-storey model, equipped with a courtesy light in the compartment which can accommodate a full-face helmet and a jet helmet. Among the interesting solutions is also a TCS traction control system which strengthens driving safety. There are also two USB sockets, one located in the left glove compartment, then the second in the center of the handlebar.

Technology

The scooter is long 2.165 millimeters with a wheelbase of 1.550 mm, wide 780 mm it's tall 1.285 mm. The saddle is placed at a height of 810 mm and the mass in running order is 194 kg. The tank can hold 12,5 liters of fuel.
It features a pressed plate steel frame with a suspension system consisting of a hydraulic telescopic front fork. 37 mm, whose excursion reaches 110 mm, as well as a rear single-swinging arm with adjustable double shock absorbers and a travel of 100 mm. The braking system consists of a double front disc 260 mm in diameter and 3-piston calipers, then a single rear disc from 240 mm with two-piston caliper.
The picture is completed by five-spoke light alloy wheels wearing 120/80-14" and 150/70-13" knobby tires on the front and rear respectively.

Motor

The example is equipped with an engine that complies with the regulations Euro 5. A G5 single-cylinder heart from 321 cc four-valve and liquid-cooled, which is accompanied by a CVT gearbox, a continuously variable speed.
The maximum expressed power reaches i 28,6 horses (21 kW) at 7.500 rpm and the torque peak is 29,3 Nm at 5.750 rpm.
