EICMA 2017 KTM 790 Duke – It was presented last year as a concept also at EICMA, but now the 790 Duke has become reality.

All the knowledge derived from the development of the 650 Duke and the 1290 Super Duke R have flowed into the new model of the Austrian company.

The strong point of the new born is the new 799 cc parallel facing engine, 4-stroke DOHC, 2 in-line cylinders, eight valves actuated by means of finger rocker arms coated in DLC, electronic injection, with two countershafts, capable of delivering a good 105 HP at 9000 rpm and a torque of 86 Nm at 8.000 rpm.

Completely revised frame, still trellis, in chrome-molybdenum steel, with rear aluminum structure. The suspension department is made up of a WP 43mm upside-down fork at the front and an aluminum swingarm at the rear with a WP monoshock with progressive spring, adjustable preload and rebound. All this to reduce the weight, which does not exceed 174kg.

The dashboard, with digital instrumentation with color TFT display and menu switch on the handlebars, allows you to control all the electronics on the motorbike. As standard it features: cornering ABS with supermoto mode, traction control sensitive to lean angles, quickshifter+ and launch control.

The KTM will be sold at a price of 9450 Euros.
