KTM – KTM broke theirs personal record for motorcycle production within a calendar year. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has produced, in fact, more than 100.000 motorcycles in the main factory of Matthighofen in just one year.

According to KTM, motorcycle number 100.000, one 1190 Adventure, rolled off the assembly line at exactly 09:00 on Tuesday. The board of directors and some factory workers posed with the motorbike together with a sign celebrating the important milestone accompanied by another which read 'made in Austria'.

KTM said in a statement: “Since 1999, when production started, more than 1,2 million vehicles, manufactured according to the “ready to race” philosophy, have left the base factory in Mattighofen!”. The Austrian company thus follows in the footsteps of Honda who recently celebrated the production of his three hundred millionth motorcycle, followed by the Ducati who instead celebrated his millionth product rolled off the Borgo Panigale production line.

The important milestone follows another important result for KTM, Duke's 20th birthday, the very personal Austrian naked born in 1994, which boasted the most powerful single-cylinder produced in those years. A constantly evolving motorcycle that has created a real “Duke family” and which has won the hearts of many fans of all ages.
