KTM Minicycle SX 2017: the new range presented [PHOTO]

The small motocross bikes destined for tomorrow's champions

KTM Minicycle SX 2017 – Last week in Las Vegas, around the last race of the American Supercross, which saw the Red Bull KTM Factory Team rider Ryan Dungey dominate for the second consecutive year, the new Ktm “Mini” range was presented to the international press SX, or rather the small cross bikes intended for tomorrow's champions.

One of the main innovations concerns the 50 SX and 65 SX, which from this year will adopt the WP Suspension AER 35 fork, a big step forward from a technical point of view applied to such small bikes. In fact, the pneumatic fork, compared to the traditional one, allows finer adjustments and adapts better to the "growth" of the rider. The mono, fully adjustable, is also new, as is the exhaust system, the hour meter and the graphics, which make these small, already Ready to Race bikes resemble their bigger sisters. The 50 SX is a KTM cross through and through, designed to meet the needs of those little riders who, thanks also to the automatic clutch, train to perform their first maneuvers (and first drifts) on school pitches. The bigger sister 65 SX is already a more advanced motorbike, much closer to those of the "big boys" in terms of technical and dynamic characteristics, starting from the traditional gearbox. For 2017 no major changes have been made (for example the fork remains traditional with springs), but only small updates, which however make the 85 SX the real point of reference in the category.

The MY2017 KTM Sportminicycle range will be available across the dealer network from June 2016.
