KTM: various news for explorers and athletes in view of EICMA 2019?

La Euro 5 standard and the engineering creativity of the different manufacturers could be relevant factors in the next edition of EICMA, with a varied overview of new products for multiple types of palates. Talking about KTM, considering indiscretions, rumors and cited sightings reported online in recent times, the potential introductions to the Milanese event could concern multiple segments.

Large and compact full of liveliness?

Among the models present at2019 edition di EICMA could include the renewed ones KTM 1290 Super Adventure e 1290 Super Duke, updated from an aesthetic point of view and, in particular, equipped with a drive unit aligned with the aforementioned legislation Euro 5 relating to emissions.
Together with the 1290 we also talk about the proposal 790, that is one 790 Duke which could have a few more horsepower, but also a more muscular braking system and more sophisticated adjustable suspension. So something new 790 SMC, a crossover model with a road footprint with stiffer and more connected suspension, robust brakes and wheels 17 inches, taking up the rumors linked to this specimen.
Then there has also been talk of a potential for some time KTM 390 Adventure. Photos have appeared on the web dedicated to a prototype undergoing testing, caught on the road. A motorbike presumably aimed at those who have a licence A2, with an appearance that would refer to the range Adventure and mechanics not dissimilar to the purely road model, always counting on the thrust of a single-cylinder engine perhaps combined with an exhaust with catalytic converter. It would probably benefit from suspensions with longer travel, different superstructures in particular a different positioning of footrests and a higher saddle height, just as the wheels could have a generous diameter. In any case, at the moment, the conditional is a must.
