KTM: new 2021 EXC range introduced [PHOTO]

Agility, versatility and liveliness are characterizing aspects of the models KTM EXC 2 stroke with injection technology in the TPI ports and models EXC-F 4-stroke. The definition of the 2021 range is linked to the knowledge and experience gained by the brand in the WESS Enduro World Championship and other major challenges.

The overview

The new models are available in KTM dealerships starting from July 2020 and further information can be consulted on the dedicated section of the website.
Speaking of chassis, the fork WP XPLOR extension on the entire 2021 EXC range it is refined, returning sensations similar to those of the competition, now equipped with a preload adjustment register which allows simple interventions on the settings as the conditions to be faced vary.
Models also reported KTM EXC Six Days e KTM 300 EXC TPI ErzbergRodeo in a limited series, created to drive on the most challenging tracks. The second represents a special dedication to the ErzbergRodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble, equipped with several special components, as reported.
While the prestigious Enduro event, the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), is remembered with the KTM EXC Six Days models. These are also enriched with exclusive aspects, such as an advanced WP XPLOR fork, graphic badges, a map selection button and plates machined from solid.
Also created the KTM PowerWear clothing collection and the KTM PowerParts accessory range, focused on performance, protection and agility.

2-stroke models

KTM 300 EXC TPI it is the reference example of the 2-stroke range. A functional and sparkling power-to-weight ratio is highlighted and the fourth anniversary of the 2-stroke electronically controlled injection system developed by the Austrian manufacturer is also remembered. TPI technology has livened up temperament, fluidity of delivery and practicality, in compliance with emissions standards, as reported.
The specialised farming model KTM 150 EXC TPI, then, features a new cast piston.

4-stroke models

Moving on to 4-stroke KTM EXC-F, factors such as reliability, low weight, torque, efficient engine management and power delivery are all relevant aspects in development. Optimized with drivers in mind, the KTM EXC-F are directed towards the stages of the off-road panorama.
From a technical point of view, the new ones KTM 450 EXC-F e KTM 500 EXC-F include a new desmodromic gear shift actuator, therefore the KTM 350 EXC-F 2021 represents a point of balance between the performance of a “four and a half” and the response in addition to the dynamism transmitted by a “two and a half”, taking the directions again.
