KTM: EICMA 2015 features beautiful orange two-wheelers [LIVE PHOTOS]

Both single and twin cylinder models are available in the range

KTM – Many new features seen this year at the 73rd edition of EICMA, the International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan. KTM could not miss the Milanese event as well, arriving with both the 690 Duke and the 690 Duke R, but also with the 1290 Super Duke GT.

The new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is a sports car with high handlebars and features the same LC8 twin-cylinder as the naked Super Duke, which is capable of producing 173 HP, but revised to have a more progressive delivery. As standard on the new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT we find electronically controlled semi-active suspension, MSC stability control, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire electronic accelerator, MTC traction control and the three engine maps (Comfort, Street and Sport). The trellis frame of the new model shows changes to both the front and rear, lengthened to accommodate a roomier saddle and hard bag attachments. The debut in dealerships is scheduled for spring 2016 and the price of the new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is yet to be defined.

The KTM 2015 Super Duke R Special Edition also arrived at EICMA 1290, a more refined and lighter limited version of the series version. The new KTM range is therefore composed of sporty naked 690 Duke, the new 690 Duke R, the new sport-tourer 1290 Super Duke GT and the new supernaked 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition.
