KTM: availability of the myKTM app announced for 2021 SX-F models

THEmyKTM app, after refinements and tests, is available for use on the entire four-stroke range KTM SX-F KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition 2020, as reported. Using a menu, this solution allows you to modify some engine parameters, as well as offering useful advice on suspension settings.

Leaning towards the voice Motor, it is possible to customize the engine parameters, adapting their performance based on the track and conditions. This solution includes a progressive approach with predefined settings that allow you to vary key parameters such as: launch control, accelerator response, traction control or engine braking.

Moving on to Suspensions, you will obtain useful indications on how to refine driveability. The Sag Assistant and the advice for setting the suspension part are functional for interventions on the adjustment of the fork and the WP monoshock, considering the needs of the rider and the type of terrain to be tackled.
To use the myKTM app you need to install one on the handlebars of the vehicle Connectivity unit, an interface that can be connected via Bluetooth to the smartphone which also acts as a bumper, according to the indications. Once synchronized, the specimen is added to a "virtual GARAGE" on the app, thus accessing different options for fine-tuning the engine as mentioned, in addition to the aforementioned adjustment advice.

The Connectivity Unit is offered in the KTM PowerParts catalog at a price of 169 euros, while the myKTM app can be downloaded for iOS and Android systems.
