KTM ADVENTURE 390, first SPY PHOTOS

KTM ADVENTURE 390 – The spy photos stolen from the Austrian manufacturer of the 790 Adventure, the new model planned by KTM for 2019, are from a few days ago. Now come those of a photographer from Cycle World, which immortalize the brand new 390 Adventure. A motorcycle that it already seems ready to make its first official appearance at Eicma 2017 to then dive into a "small" market, already very popular, during 2016. Very popular because this year, at Eicma, BMW with the G310GS, Kawasaki with the Versys-X 300, and Suzuki with the V-Strom 250, they presented their "small" and "economical" crossovers, causing great success among those present at the show. As KTM completes the range of small displacement motorcycles, already formed by the very renowned ones RC 390 and DUKE 390, bringing one to the market for every type of need and/or preference. The base will be the same as the other 390, but with some changes, from what we can glimpse from the spy photo, such as for example the rear swingarm, now more suitable for off-road driving. Even the aesthetics reveal the adventurous soul: high front mudguard, narrow saddle, high tail, engine guard, hand guards and high exhaust. But the main thing, which immediately stands out, are the double-sized rims: 19 or 21 at the front and 17 or 18 at the rear. The engine should have remained unchanged and, therefore, have a maximum power of around 40 horsepower and just over 30 Nm of maximum torque. As for the chassis, it should have a fork and mono shock absorber with a travel of 180 mm and a Brembo braking system with a single disc, both at the front and at the rear. Now we just have to wait to see it, perhaps, at Eicma 2017.
