A more powerful Euro 5 engine

Present the new ones KTM 890 Adventure R Rally e 890 Adventure R, linked to the medium displacement travel-enduro segment and designed to tackle different roads.

New adventurers

Following the range KTM 790 Adventure, these innovations have the same technical base and a more powerful core. There KTM 890 Adventure R Rally, in particular, was developed with the collaboration of the pilots of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Rally team and is offered in limited quantities. It can be booked online from October 6, as reported.
La KTM 890 AdventureR, then, a conceptual refinement of the already well-known KTM 790 Adventure R appears, considering the indications.

It features fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension with new calibration, improved ABS software and new traction control algorithms. An amplified versatility. Refinements in the chassis have also been reported with the aluminum steering head pin and lightened rear frame,
updated front and rear brakes, a reinforced clutch and an evolved transmission supporting faster shifts, again as indicated; then a renewed handlebar switch with integrated Cruise Control control.
An updated Quickshifter+ is reported as optional.
The new engine from 899 cc transmits 105 horses at 8.000 rpm e 100 Nm of maximum torque at 6.500 rpm, essentially 10 horsepower and 12 Nm more torque. Furthermore, the crankshaft has a further 20% of rotating masses, favoring a fuller and more constant delivery from low revs, still following the indications. The presence of other mass is also functional for cornering stability.

KTM 890 Adventure R Rally

A limited edition example (700 units are reported), with a chassis designed to tackle the most challenging terrain, considering the fully adjustable WP XPLOR Pro Components professional suspension. The specific components include: transparent fairing and deflectors, graphics with motifs that refer to the sporting scene, carbon fiber tank protectors, Quickshifter+ and the RALLY riding mode as standard, a straight Race saddle at 910 mm in height, rally platforms and narrow rims with inner tubes.
The model is equipped with a powerful heart DOHC LC8c 4-stroke twin-cylinder, approved Euro 5, to which an Akrapovič silencer is connected which, taking up the information, is 35% lighter than a standard solution.
