The new KTM 890 Adventure R 2023

Introduced in Idaho (USA), during the KTM Adventure Rider Rally, the bike aesthetically evokes the KTM 450 Rally. It is expected at Official KTM Dealers in the early months of next year, as reported.
Among the features we highlight the presence of a new fairing, a new engine protection, new superstructures and a new tank. The refinement of aerodynamics and ergonomics is linked to vigorous agility, keeping safety in mind.
Together with the new colors you can see a one-piece saddle present at 880 millimeters height and among the new features there is also a choice of software present in the KTM PowerParts catalogue. The DEMO riding mode is indicated with different driving modes and various options to try in the first 1.500 kilometres, in order to decide which package or individual options to associate, based on the indications.
The motorcycle is equipped with a new 5 inch TFT display to which a USB-C connector. It is a system with color pictograms and graphics that facilitate passage between menus, together with a Turn-by-turn Plus navigation system that allows you to select your favorite destination from the latest destinations already visited. Also highlighted is a new call function for calling a contact from the list made up of a maximum of 10 favorite numbers, or one of the last 10 already contacted.

Technically the robust chassis is characterized by a chrome-molybdenum steel frame and this is combined with adjustable WP XPLOR suspension.
The propulsive heart is of the parallel twin-cylinder type 889 cc. The power reaches altitude 105 horses (77 kW) at 8.000 rpm and the torque is 100 Nm at 6.500 rpm. There is a six-speed transmission.
Returning to the electronic part, there is a new generation ABS control unit which can use the readings of the 6D sensor, considering parameters such as pitch and inclination, in order to apply the right braking force in every situation. Off-road you can use theOFF-ROAD ABS as an integral function of the OFFROAD mode, or consider the optional RALLY mode without having to adopt the OFFROAD ABS separately, as indicated.
