The bike is characterized by new graphics that underline its character, developed with an "in-mold" injection process that makes them more resistant. Compared to the previous model, the front area is now connected to the tank and the result recalls the KTM 450 Rally Replica for competition. It features a higher windscreen than that of the R version and the superstructures near the 20-litre tank and the tail have a greater extension, to protect the driver from air flows and the saddle from any accidental contact with the ground when off-road. according to the instructions.
The front mudguard is new, designed to expel a greater quantity of water or mud and the forged aluminum fairing attachments are reinforced for greater solidity, so that larger GPS devices can be installed on the instrumentation turret.
There is a new one 5 inch TFT screen with a USB-C connector and an anti-glare bonded mineral glass to better resist scratches.
The backlighting changes intensity during the ride based on the light, therefore a refined synchronization between the screen and the KTMconnect app allows Turn-by-Turn Plus navigation (being able to choose the favorite destination among the latest destinations) and to interact with other functions, such as setting a list of 10 telephone numbers or finding the last 10 numbers called.
We also note the renewed aluminum protections of the engine and the tank, together with a new handlebar block which includes the emergency button. The motorbike wears Pirelli Scorpion STR tyres.
The saddle is made in two parts, characterized by a different shape in the tank area and new padding. The rider's side is adjustable in two positions at 840 and 860 millimeters and the height can be kept to 800 mm with an optional thinner seat and a suspension lowering kit, both solutions in the KTM PowerParts catalogue.
