The motorcycle

The specimen KTM 790 Duke it has been revived in the Austrian brand's Naked range to bridge the gap between the compact KTM 390 Duke and the roaring KTM 890 Duke.
From an aesthetic point of view, the model for 2022 features two new color varieties consisting of a variant with the typical orange scheme and another combination in gray and black.
The new 790 Duke, like other examples of the range, can be enriched with KTM PowerParts accessories. There are also KTM PowerWear clothing items designed for motorcyclists.

Technique and proposal

Agility and precision are aspects confirmed and enhanced, also considering a geometry developed specifically for sports riding, in addition to the work of the WP APEX suspensions.
The electronic part is also highlighted, from the Rain, Street and Sport riding modes with the customization of the MTC traction control sensitive to the lean angle, to the response of the Ride By Wire control. Also highlighted in the equipment are LED on-board lights, a five-inch TFT instrument panel and Cornering ABS with Supermoto mode.

Optional features include: an additional Track riding mode, Cruise Control, a KTM My Ride solution for interaction, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), engine torque regulation during release (MSR) and Quickshifter+ system for changing gears without using the clutch.
Il LC8c engine It has been tuned with torque delivery in mind. On the European market the motorcycle will have 95 horses of power e 87 Nm of torque and will also be offered in a depowered 35 kW version, to be able to be driven by those in possession of an A2 licence. In the rest of the world it will be distributed in the full power 105 horsepower version.
Marketing in Italy will begin from June 2022.
