KTM 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R 2023: versatility and performance for dynamism enthusiasts

Two models designed to tackle different types of terrain with agility and liveliness. For 2023, the models KTM 690 Enduro R e 690 SMC R they feature new graphics and are always powered by a powerful LC4 single-cylinder engine.

They are both covered with new graphics which in the case of KTM 690 Enduro R recalls the Enduro competition range, on 690 SMC R It features distinctive blue and orange finishes.
The KTM 690 Enduro R is a dualsport example that recently took part in the TransAnatolia Rally, recalling the commitment of the expert Xavier de Soultrait in this important challenge.

The KTM 690 SMC R, on the other hand, is a motorcycle designed to maneuver along winding mountain roads or have fun on the track, thanks to a strong character.

The two models present one LCD screen which offers the main information on speed and number of revolutions and there is a series of warning lights. The minimalist design of the instruments facilitates visibility of the driving route. Both also feature an ABS solution sensitive to the angle of inclination, in order to make the most of the braking power in every situation. On the specimen KTM 690 Enduro R is supported byABS Offroad, which contains the intervention of the ABS on the front wheel and deactivates it entirely in the rear area, allowing a block to optimize the ride on off-road sections.

On the model KTM 690 SMC R this functionality is replaced byABS Supermoto, giving space to the sportiness of the motorbike. If activated, the ABS is contained at the front and completely deactivated at the rear for broad rear management when entering corners.
Furthermore, both are equipped with an engine LC4, as mentioned. A propulsive heart present for over 30 years on some of the liveliest models of the Austrian brand and evolved over time. A single-cylinder which initially, in 1987, had a displacement of 553 cm³ and was developed for competitions; therefore over time it has reached a volume of 693 cc animating these very examples of the KTM overview.
The most recent generation of models with the LC4 engine conveys profound versatility and dynamism, while considering that each model has a distinct and peculiar character.

Availability

The models of KTM 690 Enduro R , KTM 690 SMC R for 2023 they will be available from the official KTM dealer network starting from the first months of next year.
