KTM 690 Duke, increases power and torque [PHOTO]

KTM 690 Duke – KTM unveils the new 690 Duke. Few details are still to be defined, but the substantial news is all confirmed.

The new KTM 690 Duke will be presented at Eicma, also in the R version. The LC4 single cylinder has been profoundly revised by the Mattighofen technicians and will now have an increased bore, a reduced stroke and the same displacement. Power has increased by 7% and torque by 6%, while the head has been completely revised and therefore now more compact. The additional countershaft will reduce vibrations, being positioned at the head, the valves are of larger diameter, vibrations have been significantly reduced and finally the smoother power delivery at low rpm.

Other important features include the Riding mode – Sport, Street, Rain – with map selector on the handlebar, the TFT Display adopted for the first time on a KTM ed the new exhaust which allows improved power and torque delivery.

The new KTM 690 Duke will be available in 2 colors and will also be offered in the R version, with a package that provides a further increase in the performance of the LC4 mono, even more advanced electronics, fully adjustable suspensions, better performing brakes, standard accessories and dedicated graphics.

I sales prices and availability are yet to be defined.
