A new concept featuring a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame, a fork WP APEX with a 43 mm diameter and open cartridge, adjustable in compression and rebound and a WP APEX monoshock, manageable in preload and rebound. At the recent edition of EICMA, the Austrian manufacturer has also introduced the performance KTM 1290 Super Duke R, the new “The Beast” so to speak. A powerful naked powered by an even more powerful 1.301 cc LC8 engine, which expresses 180 horsepower of maximum thrust and 140 Nm of torque, for a reported dry weight of 189 kg. So another sporty naked, the new one 890 Duke, distinguishable by the dedicated graphics and peculiar stylistic elements, a lower and flatter handlebar, and therefore the rear footrests. The chassis embraces an 8 cc LC890c engine, which offers 121 horsepower and 99 Nm of torque. In this case a dry weight of 166 kg is indicated
The chassis includes manageable WP APEX suspension, Brembo brakes with Stylema® calipers and MCS pump, then electronics with inertial platform and 6D lean sensor, always considering the indications.
