KTM 1290 Super Duke GT – KTM anticipates the most important news of Eicma 2015, scheduled for mid-November, by removing part of the veils from its new 1290 Super Duke GT, the new flagship derived from the Super Duke R, dedicated to a sporting public who, despite traveling in complete comfort , wants to always feel "Ready to Race".

The new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is an updated 8cc LC1,301 twin-cylinder engine with new heads, revised thermodynamics to improve combustion and have a smoother power delivery to meet a fast touring-oriented audience. Furthermore, electronic injection adapted to the new engine specifications. As for the chassis, that of the new one KTM 1290 Super Duke GT it has been modified to accommodate the fixed fairing, the rear subframe has been lengthened to accommodate the side bags, then we have integrated attachments for the side bags and new saddles to increase comfort on long journeys for the rider and passenger.

In terms of comfort, the new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT comes with 3 dynamic riding modes, Sport, Street, Rain, WP semi-active suspension with 4 different setups and anti-dive function, Quick shifter as standard, Cruise control and heated grips as standard. Also new is the exhaust system which features a lower silencer to facilitate the fitting of side bags, an exhaust valve to reduce noise emissions at low revs, for an "exciting" exhaust note at high revs
