The Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki has shown a teaser, the first official, of the 2011 version of the ZX-10R Racer, destined for a two-day test on the Suzuka circuit, in order to allow the R&D department of the motorcycle manufacturer to gather important information on the configuration of the two-wheeler destined for the 2011 World Superbike Championship.

What do you see? An aggressive, sculpted, tapered racing motorbike, not even painted: there are few pretexts for having other details, which we had already imagined with a first explanatory sketch: from this ZX-10R Racer will be born the same Kawasaki ZX-10R 2011 road bike to be included in the price list Japanese manufacturer.

And, according to what has so far transpired from those parts, this motorcycle will have a completely new chassis and engine and will have - it seems - 200 horsepower: enthusiasts of the Kobe and Tokyo (Japan) motorcycle company hope that the development of a Kawasaki ZX-10R Racer for Superbike can give the right amount of sportiness to a project which, due to its 1000 cubic centimeters of displacement, finds itself in battle with the Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000 and Honda CBR1000RR.

So far, the two riders of the Kawasaki Racing Team, who have tested the track bike in Imola, in the development program of the same, Tom Sykes and Chris Vermeulen, have been impressed by the changes made to this new motorcycle and seemed satisfied with the performance of the Kawasaki ZX-10R Racer: it gives us hope!
