The new Kawasaki ZX-10R Model Year 2011 has been unveiled in these hours by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer. The sports motorcycle is equipped with some aesthetic changes, but above all with a new level of power, very important for the user base it is aimed at.

The 998 cubic centimeter engine produces 197 horsepower, which becomes 207 with the RAM air introduction device. What fuels our appreciation is the maximum weight of the new 10 ZX-2011R, which stops the scales at around 197 kilograms, a few handfuls less than the current heaviness. The engine of the super-sporty fairing is still the liquid-cooled four-cylinder four-stroke.

The new Kawasaki ZX-10R 2011 is equipped with very respectable equipment: among the various details, Ohlins steering damper, horizontal rear shock absorber, Showa Big Piston Forks at the front, three different power levels (choice of: Full, Middle and Low), the S-KTRC (Sport Kawasaki Traction Control) device, which controls the slip of the front and rear tires, and the (optional) KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System), which controls the brake power and wheel locking.

The line is an evolution of the previous generation. The new Kawasaki ZX-10R 2011 is much more angular and has a few more angularities. The result is light and pleasant and does not give that feeling of heaviness of today's version, but of greater airiness. A gem are the direction indicators with LED lights, integrated into the rear-view mirror caps. The pointed muzzle contrasts with the rounded, almost compressed tail. The green-black color, however, is a must, whatever the shape of the bodywork.
