Kawasaki Z900RS – It did not betray the expectations that had been artfully created by Japan and so, from the moment of its launch to Tokyo Motor Show 2017, Kawasaki Z900RS in just a few weeks it attracted the interest of the press and thousands of Z brand enthusiasts around the world with a continuous request for more in-depth information. TO EICMA the Kawasaki Z900RS CAFE also saw the light and clearly indicated how broad the RS concept can be and how the imagination can be pushed "towards infinity and beyond".

To do this, Kawasaki commissioned the three leading Japanese companies in the sector to customize three Z900RS. With exclusive access to pre-production models and the ability to talk to factory staff Case Custom Bito R&D, Moto Racing e Doremi Collection have returned to their laboratories determined to create absolutely alternative customized models, precisely the type of customization that began with the model Z1 Super Four of 1972 and which has continued to exist ever since.

La Bito R&D di toyooka, in Hyogo province, is led by Jo Bito, a famous tuner universally recognized for innovative products such as JB Magtan rims. His first impression of the Z900RS was: “It is a beautiful bike that manages to communicate the Kawasaki "character" at first glance. Even though there is a liquid-cooled engine, it has finishes that recall the air one; the tank has a generous volume; the suspension and brakes are of excellent quality and the bike is really easy to handle. You can really feel the legacy of the legendary Z1". Jo Bito he built his customized Z900RS as if he were the customer himself. In addition to his signature Magtan circles, Bito-san has created many other parts, some easy to spot, others more difficult and sophisticated to perceive at first glance. An astonishing and at the same time provocative motorbike with a racing soul.

The direction of Moto Racing however, it was different. “Driving along the Nishi-Meihan Expressway, I fell in love with the feeling transmitted by the Kawasaki four-cylinder and the sound of the exhaust. During that ride we met other Z series riders. The bikes in action were fantastic - Said Shin Kondo -. Since I started this job, I have always wanted to work on a Kawasaki Z, imagining the final result that a similar project could give.“. The result resulted in a distinctive motorcycle that exudes exclusivity from every pore. Carbon is abundant and seemingly simple modifications have been undertaken with absolute precision such as the application of adhesive strips on the tank. The elegant padding of the saddle and the high quality of the carbon used place the Moto Corse Z900RS in this trio of sober but absolutely elegant motorcycles.

In creating its version of the Z900RS, the Doremi Collection he thought more about racing functionality than elegance. This is the third and final example of what is possible when the creativity of Japanese customization leaders is unleashed. In short, their bike is a faithful reproduction of the famous Yoshimura Z1 ridden by Wes Cooley in the AMA Superbike series. Hiroshi Take he is a Z series enthusiast and his deep knowledge of customization is a great inspiration to everyone: “We are entering the era of cosplay - says Take-san -. Changing saddles and simply fitting aftermarket exhausts won't be enough to stand out. Customizing a motorbike means being able to make those who see it say: 'Hey, this is different and original'".
