The style recalls the Z650-B1, noting for example the paint and graphics that reproduce the green variant of the historic model. Other interesting references are the side panels and the “duck tail”. The colors are matched to the new model Metallic Spark Black, Candy Emerald Green e Metallic Moondust Gray / Ebony, just as the attention to detail is underlined by noticing the saddle and the associated stitching.
The round headlight is also distinctive LED , just as the shaped instrumentation is distinctive "bullet" Analog style with a digital center panel. The aesthetic and technical picture is completed by the presence of golden-coloured alloy spoke wheels and, through a range of original Kawasaki accessories, it is possible to further customize the example.

Technology

The motorcycle is equipped with a tubular trellis frame that supports its dynamism. The saddle is placed at a height of 820 millimeters with an optional low seat a 800 mm, proposed as an accessory. A tapered central section is also highlighted, making it easier to place the feet on the asphalt and also facilitating maneuvers when stationary.
The suspension part features traditional forks 41 mm at the front, while at the rear a Kawasaki horizontal link solution which operates on a preload-adjustable shock absorber. The braking system includes front discs 300 mm in retro style flanked by twin-piston front calipers, then behind a single disc 200 mm with single piston solution. There is also an advanced Bosch ABS.

Motor

The engine is an advanced example of the Kawasaki parallel twin 649 cc, liquid-cooled and linked to the most recent Z650 and Ninja 650 models. An engine that represented the basis for the models that raced to success in the TT challenges on the Isle of Man. Returning to the model, according to the indications, yes it is designed for a full response at low and medium revs, together with an interesting delivery at high revs. The expressed power reaches i 68 horses (50,2 kW) and, at Kawasaki dealers, we also note the availability of a variant from 35 kW aimed at holders of an A2 driving licence.
