Kawasaki Z – Akrapovič has developed a range of exhaust systems for the latest Kawasaki Z series of motorcycles which, with their cover looks, enhanced roar and increased performance, guarantee heart-pounding thrills.

The brand new Kawasaki Z900 is a splendid naked bike with a thousand sporting aspirations. The Slovenian specialist in high-performance exhausts has developed a trio of Slip-On line exhausts dedicated specifically to you. The range includes the Slip-On line (in titanium), Slip-On line (in carbon) CE/ECE approved and Slip-On line (in titanium) CE/ECE approved exhausts. All of them were created to offer the customer a super choice. The three new systems are the first phase of exhaust tuning. They will undoubtedly express all the ambitions of the bike and, enriched with optional stainless steel manifolds, they can be transformed into complete systems to make performance and sound fly to new heights. The two external sleeves of the Slip-On line mufflers (in titanium) are made of the highest quality lightweight titanium which, compared to the standard ones, significantly reduce weight while improving handling. These two versions are designed both for markets where CE/ECE approval and compliance with Euro 4 regulations are necessary and for areas where these are not needed, or for the slopes. Finished with a handcrafted carbon fiber end cap, the systems design embellishes the look of the Kawasaki Z900 with a sportier muffler that makes it more aggressive and personalized. The Slip-On line is also available in carbon fiber, allowing consumers to choose which racing-inspired materials they want to add to their rides. The exhaust, again CE/ECE and Euro 4 compliant, is, like the titanium version, a very simple plug-and-play that does not require remapping.

All three exhausts will improve torque and power levels across the entire rev range, while also enhancing throttle responsiveness to aid driveability and control. Performance can then be further enhanced by adding stainless steel manifolds. Added to any Slip-On line exhaust, they transform it into a complete racing system making you enjoy all the power even more. The Slovenian company has also worked hard to improve the sound and bring it up to the level of look and performance. in fact, the Slip-On line exhaust (in carbon/titanium), CE/ECE approved, improves it by enriching it with a sportier note while the non-approved Slip-On line (in titanium) makes it more powerful, darker and even livelier. To further embellish the look of these Slip-On line exhausts, an optional carbon fiber heat shield is also available, completely made internally with high quality hand-crafted materials. It is also possible to further improve the sound, giving it a breath of extra acoustic strength thanks to the optional collectors. To further expand the range of ultra-luxury exhausts dedicated to the Kawasaki Z, Akrapovič has created a Racing line system (in titanium) for the bare Z650, which also adapts perfectly to the sporty Ninja 650. An exhaust constructed from the highest quality ultra-lightweight titanium and stainless steel headers, all finished with a hand-crafted carbon fiber end cap – this system is another of the many works of art from the Slovenian high-performance exhaust specialist.

With a more thunderous and sporty sound, which goes perfectly with the aggressive look of the naked one, it is the ideal match for the Ninja 650. The design also integrates perfectly into the look of the two bikes, taking them to new heights of aesthetic perfection. With an increase in torque and power across the entire rpm range and a decrease in weight which contributes to handling, the Racing line, despite being CE/ECE approved and Euro 4 compliant for emissions and noise, certainly does not lack effect. The Racing line system, accompanied by very simple installation instructions, is plug-and-play and does not require remapping of the standard control unit. For markets where CE/ECE approval is not required or for use on the tracks, Akrapovič has also launched a Racing line exhaust system (in titanium) for the Z650 and Ninja 650, which meets these needs. Improved performance at all speeds, a richer sound that gives a darker and sportier tone, all combined with the reduction in weight given by the muffler made of top quality titanium: it is an exhaust system that is serious and increases the charm of the motorbike.
