The series versions will arrive in Europe during 2023

Also Kawasaki is present at the event EICMA 2022 of Milan with a range of new prototypes and series motorcycles. The Japanese brand is ready to face the electric revolution with a line-up of full electric and hybrid motorcycles.

Like other two-wheel manufacturers, Kawasaki has also decided not to definitively abandon the internal combustion engine, but at the same time will produce electric vehicles.

On the occasion of the 79th edition of EICMA, the company also presented a prototype with hydrogen propulsion called Kawasaki Ninja H2. It has direct injection and uses compressed hydrogen gas as a fuel source. Apart from this, the Japanese brand has unveiled the Ninja HEV, Hydrogen H2, Z BEV and Ninja BEV.

The Kawasaki Z BEV

Starting from Kawasaki Z BEV, comes in the form of an updated version of the Z prototype first shown at Intermot. The latest model is very close to the version that will arrive on the European market on next year. It will be requested driving license A1 to be able to drive it on the road; therefore, we hypothesize that its performance will be comparable to that of a 125.

According to what was reported by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, the Z DRINK It boasts a 15 HP (11 kW) electric motor and a 3 kWh battery. From the images we notice that the new version of the bike has a license plate holder, a new cover for the engine, less bodywork and wheels and braking system that could come from a smaller model.

Moving on to Kawasaki Ninja BEV, is another prototype based on the iconic Ninja. The bodywork comes from the 400, but shares some components with the Z BEV. Furthermore, it can be driven in Europe with an A1 licence.

The final version will be a sports bike for beginners, also offered in a 100% electric version, and will arrive in the Old Continent during the 2023. At least for the moment, the Asian manufacturer has not revealed any details on performance.
