Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R 2017, standard configuration tested
It will be available in the final months of 2016
Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R 2017 – With an empty place available in the Kawasaki Racing Team's trophy cabinet (alongside the 2015 title), the Japanese riders and team are eagerly waiting to get back on their Ninjas.
"Even though the championship is promising a heart-pounding finale, we immediately wanted to test the 10 Kawasaki Ninja ZX2017R in standard configuration.” commented Biel Roda, Marketing Manager of the Kawasaki Racing Team. “In every season there are official tests organized after specific SBK rounds, as well as special sessions to delve deeper into some setting options or experiment with new ideas to lower the lap time even by just a few thousandths of a second. By working closely with Kawasaki Motors Europe we have the opportunity to have the new models available as soon as they are available, so we can get to work immediately."
The 2017 model has the same specifications as the impressive 10 Kawasaki Ninja ZX2016R with the IMU inertial platform and 20% lower inertia crankshaft as suggested by Tom Sykes and his chief mechanic Marcel Duinker. "Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes are definitely the first fans of the production bike!” concluded Biel Roda. “In preparation for the Lausitzring race Tom drove a standard ZX-10R during simple free sessions on the track while Jonathan drove his (personal) Ninja which he uses for "training". Both know the performance and performance of the #bike well but were curious to discover the graphics and colors of 2017. "
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R 2017 will be available at official Kawasaki dealers in the final months of 2016 in two colors: Pearl Blizzard White/ Metallic Flat Raw Titanium and Lime Green/ Ebony “KRT Edition”.
