A new updated specimen

The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for the 2024 presents a series of innovations. There are updates regarding the aesthetic and technical aspects of this Medium displacement supersport, designed to meet the needs of enthusiasts on the road and also on the track.

The specialised farming model

Starting from the design, the gaze immediately focuses on the front area characterized by a new sports windshield with special openings to mitigate possible turbulence, one new generation of projectors within a bold LED lighting package aero-winglet. The 2024's fairing employs woven layers to define a 3D effect, with multiple layers adding to the refined design, as reported.
The sporting nature of the model is also highlighted by the adoption of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
The instrumentation is visible on a new one 4,3 inch color TFT screen and connection with smartphones is possible via the Kawasaki Rideology app. In addition to the various information regarding the status of the vehicle, there is also a Bluetooth indicator and an economical driving indicator.

The information also includes a shift warning light, the riding mode indicator, message and call notifications from the smartphone, a Kawasaki service reminder and a maintenance-related oil change reminder.
Moving on to the technical aspects, the presence of solutions such as an SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork-Big Piston), integrated power and riding modes, KQS Kawasaki Quick Shifter, three KTRC traction control modes and the adoption of Round brake discs compared to the previous daisy ones, which recalls the Ninja ZX-10R family, are all aspects that highlight the highly sporting nature of this example.
The heart is a propeller 636 cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder which now features revised camshaft profiles, meeting the most stringent emissions regulations, together with redefined header pipes and intake ducts, combined for refined performance at low and medium speeds, as highlighted.
