Kawasaki Ninja H2, a road monster at EICMA 2014 [LIVE PHOTOS]

The international motorcycle fair opened its gates this morning

Ninja H2 – The Milan International Motorcycle Show starts off with a bang, opening today to industry operators and the specialized press, and it does so inside the Kawasaki stand where dozens of onlookers surrounded the new Ninja H2, the road version.

The new Kawasaki Ninja H2 weighs in running order 238 kg, with a power-to-weight ratio of 0,88 HP/kg, the HP delivered by the 998 cm3 Supercharged are 200 HP at 11 thousand rpm and the maximum torque is 133,5 Nm at 10.500 rpm. Kawasaki said the supercharged engine received some minor modifications to meet noise and air pollution limits, while still delivering acceleration unlike anything you'd experience on a naturally aspirated motorcycle.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 shares H2R steel trellis frame which, according to Kawasaki, allows a shorter wheelbase, guarantee of easy handling, and excellent stability at high speed. The mirrors are designed to aerodynamically aid high-speed stability, while the fairing spoiler provides more downforce to the front wheel. Electronics include multi-level traction control with a track mode, the Launch Control to maximize acceleration from a standstill e ABS; the brakes are Brembo, with 330mm semi-floating discs and we have radial mount monobloc calipers at the front, while at the rear the disc is 250mm.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 will have a slightly less aggressive riding position than a super sports bike and there will be no passenger seat because the enjoyment of intense acceleration and high speed must remain the priority of the driver. The paint used is one chemical reaction between a solution of silver ions and a reducing agent that forms a layer of pure silver, as indicated by Kawasaki itself in its release. After a months-long teaser campaign and the presentation of the H2R in the month of September, atIntermot Cologne, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 was finally revealed and immediately thrilled all two-wheel enthusiasts.
