Various projects

Starting from the current examples, an example of the technological innovation of Kawasaki is the new Ninja H2 SX SE, characterized by an interesting update. Together with the presence of front and rear radar sensors, an automatic high beam system has been introduced which automatically varies between low beam and high beam.

On the research front, the European preview of a Kawasaki hybrid motorcycle prototype provided an example of the application of this technology in the motorcycle scene. A transition from the internal combustion engine to the electric one represented by HEV, destined to be part of the 2024 model range, according to information.

Moving on to the purely electric panorama, we remember the preview at Intermot of the Electric Z aimed at enthusiasts looking for a functional example in the city and, on the occasion of EICMA, the introduction of the version of Ninja powered by a double battery with a maximum capacity of 3,0 kWh. These models have been designed in compliance with the A1 driving license regulations and are expected to be on sale in 2023.
Among the innovations, one also stands out experimental hydrogen thruster which is based on the Ninja H2 Supercharged engine, a unit that uses direct injection and compressed hydrogen gas as fuel.
Kawasaki remains committed to continuing the design and production of internal combustion engines and vehicles, together with research into future types of fuel, with the introduction of a new symbol Go with Green Power for new productions, strategically aiming for carbon neutrality.

The president of Kawasaki Motors Corporation, Hiroshi Ito, in presenting these models and prototypes, highlighted that in the two-year period 2024-2025 the introduction of 30 motorcycles with internal combustion engines is expected globally, approximately half in line with regulations Europeans.
