New models and prototypes Kawasaki they direct the gaze towards the objective of carbon neutrality. They are concepts that highlight the commitment and research of this Japanese reality.

Different ideas towards a more sustainable future

Starting from the current line of specimens, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE characterized by a new update. In addition to the presence of front and rear radar sensors, an automatic high beam system has been included which automatically varies between low beam and high beam.

The president of Kawasaki Motors Corporation, Hiroshi Ito, in presenting the models and prototypes, highlighted that in the two-year period 2024-2025 Kawasaki plans to introduce 30 motorcycles with internal combustion engines globally, about half in line with European regulations.
Moving on to the research conducted by Kawasaki to define other types of vehicles, a prototype of Kawasaki hybrid motorcycle. An easy transition from the internal combustion engine to the electric one represented by the HEV, destined to be part of the 2024 model range, according to indications.

Then there is the totally electric side, recalling the Intermot preview of the Electrically powered Z, designed for enthusiasts looking for a functional example in the city and, on the occasion of EICMA, the introduction of the Ninja powered by a double battery with a maximum capacity of 3,0 kWh. The two examples were defined in compliance with the regulations for the A1 license and the sale is expected in 2023.

Among the innovations highlighted there is also a experimental hydrogen thruster based on the Ninja H2 Supercharged engine, which uses direct injection and compressed hydrogen gas as fuel.
Kawasaki's commitment to continuing the design and production of internal combustion engines and vehicles remains, together with research into future types of fuel, with the introduction of a new symbol Go with Green Power for new productions, strategically aiming for carbon neutrality.
