The celebratory Z50th examples

From the first model year Z they have passed 50 and the milestone is highlighted with four celebratory versions of Kawasaki Z50th Anniversary.

The celebratory models

The overview of specimens Kawasaki Z continues and evolves from the iconic Super Four Z1 model of 1972. In 2022, through four Z50th models, this history is remembered. The colors associated with the models with which the anniversary is celebrated are: Firecracker Red for Z650 e Z900 / Z900 70 kW; Candy Diamond Brown for Z650RS e Z900RS.

La Kawasaki Z650 it is characterized by a connotative style and features a compact frame and a parallel twin-cylinder engine that transmits liveliness. The red dress has been defined by further enhancing the Supernaked Z style. There are dark blue and silver reflections that strengthen the vision of the red and, as with the examples of the time, the "Z" and the Kawasaki logo are finished in gold.
The model is also equipped with full LED headlights and a TFT instrument panel with smartphone connectivity. The distinctive aspects also include: a celebratory "Z 50th" logo on the front mudguard, a seat developed with a special leather and red wheels with silver details.

Moving on to Z900, the characteristic Sugomi style immediately stands out. A bold design combined with the reactive dynamism typical of the Z family. The bike features full LED headlights, TFT color instrumentation with smartphone connectivity, power mode (Full/Low), integrated riding modes and KTRC traction control.
As mentioned, the 50th anniversary version is combined with the Firecracker Red color of the Z1100GP, the air-cooled Z model that was the protagonist of the '80s. A type of red also visible on the GPZ900R and distinctive for the Kawasakis of the time. The fork legs finished in gold are also distinctive, whereas the frame is glossy black. In this color, the Z900 Z50th model will be offered at full power and in the 2 kW A70 version.

In the Retro Sport scenario, recalling tradition, for the Z50th editions of Z650RS e Z900RS a special painting process was used. The caramel colors of the tank and bodywork are layered and this highlights the design of the specimens. The models feature the “Z50th” logo on the top of the tank and are equipped with gold-colored wheels and “Double Overhead Camshaft” emblems, still recalling tradition. The side covers of the Z900RS then feature the “DOHC” emblem.
The motorcycle frames are finished in glossy black and a special leather was used for the saddle with a texture and stitching distinguishable from those visible on traditional models.
