Kawasaki 450F “Party Fluo Edition”, the importance of colors and a unique style [PHOTO]

The graphics studio initially shot an "old" KX from 2006

Kawasaki 450F “Party Fluo Edition” – Every year Alvaro Dal Farra is looking for technical and stylistic innovations that can give his bike a unique appeal. After many years with KTM, the former freestyle motocross rider and now manager of the Da Boot team, he returned to the saddle of a Kawasaki and this flashback led to the creation of the new Kawasaki 450F “Party Fluo Edition”.

The graphic and design study of Kawasaki 450F “Party Fluo Edition” he initially resumed the “old” KX from 2006 in an attempt to create something new, fresh and never seen before. For this reason Dal Farra has chosen to follow the factory line with the original colors green and blackbut giving it a new interpretation, combining them with purple, a color always used by Kawasaki in the past and a color familiar to the former rider, which matches well with the other two colors. Once I had chosen the Alvaro Dal Farra graphic line I wanted to give importance to the colors and thanks to particular paints with unique adhesion capabilities, the plastics and some parts of the bike have all been colored fluorescent green. However, green alone was not enough and for this reason Dal Farra decided to intervene with the cubing technique (also called immersion printing) on all the fluorescent components of the motorbike, inserting your personalized pattern. This is to particularize the bike and at the same time to lighten the fluorescent component which could be too strong.

The pattern was inserted only in the internal areas of the Kawasaki 450F “Party Fluo Edition”, where graphics are usually not offered. All the aluminum parts have, however, been anodized based on their position on the motorbike with anodic shades of green, black and purple and then treated with laser engraving, still with its custom pattern. Finally, the screws and bolts were changed with ergal and titanium parts, while some technical parts such as the crankcase and footrests were replaced with special parts.
