Iron of the year: the most beautiful specials at the Motor Bike Expo 2017

Motor Bike Expo 2017 – Spotlight on the world of specials with clip-on handlebars at the Motor Bike Expo 2017: certainly also thanks to Ferro magazine, now a quality brand among fans of the genre.

After the success of the first two editions, the culture magazine "cafe racer" celebrates the third edition of the "Iron of the Year" in Verona by organizing, in collaboration with the show, a memorable show, which will be presented by DJ Ringo and Giovanni Di Pillo and will benefit from the support of sponsors of the caliber of Virgin Radio (MBE's official radio station) and Honda.

The "Iron of the Year" will elect the most beautiful special selected from over 400 applications received by a jury of experts, authentic celebrities among European customizers. Whether it be renowned workshops or enthusiasts who have worked in their home garage, the participants in the contest will be put "under the pressure" by jurors such as Filippo Bassoli (Deus Ex Machina), Nicola Martini (Mr Martini) and Roberto Totti (Totti Engines) and will compete for a decidedly interesting prize pool: a Honda CMX 500 Rebel for the first place (among those who present a special on a Honda base) and Bell, Tcx and AS98 products for the finalists.

But above all the prestigious title of Iron of the Year 2017 and various awards, including the Design Award, assigned by Oberdan Bezzi. The contest will develop in two areas: next to the "traditional" one, connected to the magazine's stand in Pavilion 4 (which will host twelve specials of all brands), an island in Pavilion 5 will display another eight "iron" (strictly Honda-based). The latter will be the scene of the second show, scheduled for the morning of Sunday 22 January, and dedicated exclusively to the motorbikes of the winged manufacturer.

With the awarding of the Ferro Honda Award the winner will receive a Honda Rebel which, once customized, will go on tour in the main European motorcycle shows. A great opportunity for international visibility.
