Intermot 2018: instructions for use at the Cologne Motor Show

Intermot 2018 – The approach of autumn brings us into the season of fairs and greetings dedicated to two wheels. Inaugurating these unmissable events is Intermot, the biennial show that animates Cologne from 3 to 7 October.

After the day of October 2nd which will be dedicated to operators in the sector, one of the most important companies in the motorcycle sector will open its doors on the 3rd. This year all the main world motorcycle manufacturers will be present, ready to launch various new products for 2019 and to amaze those present (hopefully) with some more long-range previews. Ducati and Kawasaki will battle it out in the field of super sports cars, but BMW, Honda and Harley-Davidson also have several wildcards to play to attract an audience, that of two-wheelers, which is continually increasing, especially in Italy, as recently confirmed by the registration data published by Confindustria ANCMA. The fair will be open from 3 to 7 October continuously from 10am to 18pm. Daily tickets cost 14 euros if purchased in advance or 19 euros if purchased at the fair. The prices of mini passes valid for two days range from 19 to 25 euros; reduced prices (from 12 to 17 years) range from 2,5 to 3,5 euros; while students, pensioners and "over 65s" pay from 6 to 8 euros, always depending on the purchase method. You can reach Cologne by car or by plane. To get some examples for a possible trip, the flight from Orio al Serio or Milan Malpensa lasts about 90 minutes without a stopover. Prices currently vary from €33 for the best-known low-cost airline (departure from Bergamo) to over €250.
