The Metzeler Tourance Next chosen as the original equipment of the Triumph Tiger Explorer

Metzeler Tourance Next – Metzeler Tourance Next enduro street tires have been selected as original equipment for the new Triumph Tiger Explorer in the sizes 120/70 R19 M/C 60V TL front and 170/60 R17 M/C 72V TL rear.

The Metzeler Tourance Next is the third generation of the Tourance range and has been specifically designed for the latest generation adventure touring and enduro street bikes. Next is appreciated for its wet grip and driving safety, thanks to the compounds that have been designed to work in sync with the grooves of the tread design. This tire is therefore able to guarantee excellent grip on wet surfaces, giving the motorcyclist a feeling of total safety in any condition, even when the asphalt is dirty and slippery. Furthermore, the combination and interaction between the tread design and the compounds leads to a significant improvement in the regularity of wear and consequently an increase in mileage.

First-rate stability, because the structure and profiles were developed for the latest generation Street Enduros, paying particular attention to guaranteeing stability even at high speeds with motorcycles with top cases and passenger. As for the compounds, the Metzeler Tourance Next boasts a differentiated front and rear configuration, derived from the experience gained on the Roadtec Z8 Interact and in the sport touring segment, focusing on increasing two main characteristics, behavior on wet surfaces and mileage. To achieve the best possible wet performance, with particular attention to critical driving situations such as wet braking, wet grip and emergency braking, Metzeler have combined silica with high-performance synthetic polymers and new resins and plasticizing agents. This combination, through our exclusive and patented mixing process, produces a very high level of homogeneity of the compounds.
