Hybike – HyBike is an innovative pedal-assisted electric bicycle that allows you to travel at least 150 km with 6 hours of autonomy at maximum speed.

Such high performance, unachievable with traditional batteries, can be achieved thanks to an innovative hydrogen-powered energy system. Hydrogen storage is ensured by metal hydrides capable of absorbing hydrogen and fixing it in the crystalline structure, guaranteeing safety standards higher than any other system. Furthermore, this type of storage system requires more than 1000 charging cycles, corresponding to travel of 150.000 km, while traditional batteries must be replaced after 300 charging cycles, corresponding to only 12.000 km.

The production of hydrogen can be obtained using a small electrolyser combined with a photovoltaic module, making the entire supply chain sustainable from both an energy and environmental point of view. The Hybike Hybrid 24 reaches a maximum speed of 25 km/h thanks to its 250 W power, features 24″ x 2,35″ Kenda Krusader wheels and brakes are Tekro Aurigia E-Comp Hydraulic. The Shimano gearbox, however, has 8 gears. Same speed also for the Octave, the other variant, but here the wheels are 20″ x 3″ and the engine power goes from 250 W to 500 W. The Shimano has 7 gears.
