Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 – The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 will go on sale in spring 2017 alongside a 125 variant of the roadster. The Vitpilen 401 uses the frame and engine of the KTM Duke and RC 390, while the 125 version uses the steel trellis frame and the 124cc engine taken from the Duke and RC 7.

The Husqvarna Vitpilen 125 is no surprise, as it was spotted several times during road tests in June alongside a camouflaged 401. The brand confirmed the 125 variant after revealing the Vitpilen 701 last week during the Eicma in Milan. The 701, however, features a 690cc engine coming from the KTM 690 Enduro R and the SMC R, which is also shared by the Husqvarna 701 Supermoto and Enduro.

"Recognized globally and awarded for its unique design, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 will arrive in showrooms very soon. The bike draws its features from the iconic Husqvarna Silverpilen of the early 50s and combines modern technology with excellent hardware qualities, will be available for sale in spring 2017.” we read on the website Husqvarna. "It is a stunning new addition to the Vitpilen family and will be joined simultaneously by the all-new Vitpilen 125. Minimalist in layout, it is powered by a single-cylinder engine, thus remaining faithful to all the unique design features of its big brother.”
